Jobless

Oh, it’s only been a little over a month. That’s also how long I’ve been without a full-time job. I’ve been printing for Bill’s upcoming book, in addition to the normal printing I’ve done for him. Also, there was a glimmer of hope that I’d be able to assist local commmercial photographer, Dennis Fagan part-time. But he wasn’t able to guarantee definite work, so the most I’ll be able to do is occasional assisting. The experience would certainly be great, and has been so far.

I spent about 3 days at Ritz Camera in the mall a few weeks ago. Awful pay, almost no customers, so no commission (which was supposed to make up for the low pay) and not enough hours for me to consider it actually full-time.

My most recent lead is the possibility to work for Flash Photography, an event photography company. As a matter of fact, they shot my graduation last year. Because of my experience at the House, I think I would be a good fit for the type of photography services they provide. But really, any paycheck from doing photography would be great. Any leads, anyone? I’ll take whatever you have.

Any luck?

I’ve only been jobless about a month, and I’m going nuts.

Yeah man. I got a part-time (seasonal, for now) job at Best Buy. Man, I’d encourage you to apply there. I’m actually really enjoying it. I’ll update on this soon.
