Is it too early to say I hate Comcast? I’m posting this on a borrowed wireless connection because their customer service is so terrible. They’ve already been out once, and scheduled again after that, but they never showed. So I’m at an impasse, because Stacy has to have access by the time she gets here on Monday, but their earliest service date is August 4th. And the worst part is they are completely unwilling to work with me. Yeah, they suck. Atlanta is really interesting to me. The problem right now is that I have no one to enjoy it with. But I can already tell there is a ton to do. I started work on Thursday in Buckhead, so I imagine I’ll make some friends there before long. Unfortunately, school doesn’t start until September 13th, and that means I can’t meet any of my fellow classmates or use the new facilities until then. I’ve started exploring the area Northeast and East of Atlanta lately. What I tend to do is head out on a major roadway, and then work my way back to town on back roads. A few days ago I drove to Athens and then came back through towns like Good Hope and Between. CommentsFrom what I’ve read, it’s never too early to say Comcast sucks. Gonna miss ya man. Hurry up and graduate and get back to Texas. Casey | Sunday, July 30, 2006 | 12:53PM It’s not too early Walker, “the man” always sucks! Glad to hear you’re enjoying Atlanta, maybe someday I’ll come for a visit and you can show me all the cool places to make photographs! Polly | Monday, July 31, 2006 | 2:17PM Hey man, everything that we are forced to do out of the desire for convenience or just plain law sucks big time… Lauren had to change her name recently so she had to literally fight the DPS office and the Social Security office to get it all done, just to find out that when her SS card came in the mail, they got her name wrong, so to fix it, they punish her by making her go back to the office and wait in line, just so they could tell her that it will be 2 weeks before they can do anything about it. I oh so love being at the mercy of stupid. DBain | Tuesday, August 1, 2006 | 10:05AM Hey, Atlanta is cool…u just have to get to know it a little bit. lol, can’t believe u drove down to Athens. Athens is awesome though, but it’s a pretty long drive. I used to go to UGA so I lived there for 3+ years. Stefanie Dixon | Wednesday, August 2, 2006 | 1:13PM All Content © Walker Pickering |
